Designing a Conversion Engine for an SREC Aggregation Platform
Project UX Lead
2025
RECmint is a fast-growing SREC aggregator helping residential solar owners monetize clean energy production. As the company scaled through installer partnerships, onboarding became a bottleneck—SRECs are complex, trust is fragile, and the existing flow wasn't mobile-first. This project focused on translating technical eligibility requirements into a clear, trustworthy signup experience installers could confidently share.

My Role & Strategic Goals
I led the end-to-end redesign of RECmint's existing SREC intake and onboarding experience, translating complex eligibility requirements and business constraints into a clear, scalable user flow aligned across founders, engineering, and customer support. The work focused on improving mobile conversion, strengthening trust in a financially sensitive signup, and ensuring installer partners could confidently refer customers—all while remaining feasible within Bubble's low-code environment. In parallel, I built a reusable UI kit to support ongoing product development and explored next-generation, AI-first intake patterns to inform future iterations.

Design Approach

Mobile-first trust building
I designed mobile as the primary experience, focusing on clarity, scannability, and trust signals to make an unfamiliar financial process feel credible and approachable.

Progressive disclosure
I re-architected long forms into single-step interactions with clear progress, reducing anxiety while preserving data quality.
Systemized for scale
Built a Bubble-ready component system with accessible patterns and validated inputs, enabling fast implementation and preventing future UX debt.
